What we can help with
- Corrections & updates — Travel rules in China change fast. If a visa rule, payment app, or transport detail in one of our guides is out of date, tell us and we’ll verify and fix it, usually within a few days.
- Tips & stories — Found a place, a hack, or an experience other travellers should know about? Send it over. We credit contributors when we publish their tips.
- Press & partnerships — For sponsorships, affiliate partnerships, or content collaborations, email us with “Partnership” in the subject line.
- Reader questions — Planning a trip and stuck on something practical? Ask away. We can’t plan full itineraries, but we’ll happily point you to the right guide.
Before you write
Many common questions are already answered in our guides:
- Visa, entry, and 240-hour transit rules
- Linking a foreign card to Alipay and WeChat Pay
- Getting online without a VPN
- Booking high-speed trains as a foreigner
Browsing the relevant guide first is often the quickest route to an answer.
A note on what we can’t do
We’re an independent publication, not a travel agency. We don’t book hotels, trains, or tours on your behalf, and we can’t offer visa application services or one-on-one trip planning. What we can do is give you the clearest, most current information to plan confidently yourself.
Roam China Travel is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with any government tourism body or travel agency.
